Zagori Mountain Race

AnaDigit was invited to create the cartographic infrastructure of the four sections of the Zagori Mountain Race 2016 and build the mobile application of the race. The team was received by Vassilis Tzoumakas, the technical director and, indeed, the soul of the ZMR.

During the 1o days of the field work, more than 150 km of paths have been recorder and hundreds of original photos were taken. Field work was conducted by Angelos Adamakopoulos and Triantaphyllos Adamakopoulos, with the participation of Vassilis Tzoumakas, to the expense of the hospitality of the Paris Zografos.

The 4 sections of the race, the supply stations and all useful information about the race will be included in the application Zagori Race, an offspring of the topoGuide family, to be offered for free by the ZMR official sponsor Fifth Element.

The 4 sections of the race are the 10km-long Zagori Entry Race, the 21km-long Zagori Half-Marathon, the 42km-long Zagori Marathon and the very demanding 80km-long Zagori TERA.
