The paths of Meteora

Trail Meteora great loop

The large circle of Meteora takes advantage of the connectivity of several individual routes, achieving the creation of a 5.1 km long route within the zone of the main monasteries.

The route starts from Kastraki and follows well-trodden paths and streets to the Ypapantis monastery.

From Ypapanti, we return to the monastery of Megalo Meteoros and continue along the main access path of the monastery. Reaching the asphalt, we follow it towards the monastery of Agios Nikolaos, pass under it and reach our starting point.
