The paths of Meteora

Trail Meteora great loop

The long trail around Meteora takes advantage of the connectivity of several individual routes, achieving a 5.1 km long route within the zone of the major monasteries.

The route starts from Kastraki and follows well-trodden paths and streets to the Ypapantis monastery.

From Ypapanti monastery, we return to the monastery of Megalo Meteoro and continue along the main access path of the monastery. Reaching the asphalt, we follow it towards the monastery of Agios Nikolaos, pass under it and reach our starting point.
