The paths of Meteora

Trail Kamambaka-Kastraki

This is a short route that allows the hiking group to go from Kalambaka to Kastraki avoiding the main asphalt road.

From Kastrakiou Street, i.e. the central asphalt that connects Kalambakai with Kastraki, we deviate towards the monastery of Agios Antonios.

Just below the monastery we enter a path that goes around the zone above Kastraki and brings us to Pigi tis Neraida, a nice resting place and starting point of the route to the Varlaam monastery.
