Doubiani-Ypapandi monastery trail

The route starts from Kastraki and after the road access point of the Doupiani rock and follows a path between the towers of the western side of the Meteora complex. The route crosses open landscapes with sparse or dense deciduous forest in places and ends at the Ypapantis monastery.

You will find a distinctive marking from the Meteora Trail Run with red markings.

The route starts from Kastraki and directly reaches the southern base of Dubiani.

The Ypapantis monastery is uninhabited today. The course ends at the ruins of the old monastery of Agios Dimitrios, located on a plateau of the same rock - however it requires a long uphill cycle.
