The circular route around the monastery of Megalo Meteoros is an easy and pleasant introduction to hiking in Meteora.
The route follows a circular path to the NW of the Megalo Meteoros monastery parking area. The path develops in a relatively smooth field, and over the steepest slopes that fall to the west.
Nice course for an afternoon bathed in purple sunlight as it falls behind Pindos.
