This loop trail around the monastery of Megalo Meteoro is an easy and pleasant introduction to hiking in Meteora.
The route follows a circular path to the NW of the Megalo Meteoro monastery parking area. The path runs along a relatively smooth terrain, and over the steepest slopes that fall to the west.
A nice trail for an afternoon bathed in purple sunlight as it falls behind Pindos Mts.
