Sifnos shoreline is largely precipitous and rocky, yet it offers some calm bays hosting nice beaches, mostly in the southern side of the island. The beaches of Platys Gialos, Faros, Apokofto and Kamares are well sought after families and younger people, while hikers and naturalists prefer to walk and reach isolated coves, like Fykiada or Vroulidia.
