Chora-Magazia-Molos

This hiking is ideal for one to meet the main attractions of Chora and the neighboring coastal zone.

Starting from the Castle and the Monastery of Aghios Georgios, with the spectacular view towards the NE coast of Skyros, we move downhill through the labyrinth of cobbled paths until the central square and the main road of Chora, where the heart of the social life of the island beats. It is suggested that visitors roam with no particular route in order to see the unique planning and folk architecture. The route afterwards will bring us to the Eternal Poetry Square, close to the Archaelogical and Folkore Museums of Skyros and from this point we descend towards the coastal settlements of Magazia and Molos. Through the alleys and the beautiful beach will reach Pouria, with the impressive rock formations from travertines, carved from antiquity to produce building materials.
