The course along the southern coast of Skyros is not very requiring in terms of slopes, but the roughness and wildness of the landscape is awe-inducing, as the spiny shrubs dominate and only a few individual trees will be met on the way, while the view to the steep maritime cliffs, the Eleonora’s falcon kingdom, falling vertically to the sea up to over 100 meters, is really breathtaking. The firm lighthouse at cape Lithari awaits at the rather steep downhill end of the route, while we will not miss the chance to observe the rare chasmophytes of the island.
