Having the Vryzes plateau and the private center of outdoor activities Katafygio Oiti as a starting point, the visitor of Oeta has the opportunity to take a number of short walks, from short climbs to environmental routes. One of the ascents is the course from the Katafygio Oiti to the Pyrgaki peak.
The path is well-etched and well marked (only the section between the two dirt roads is not systematically marked). In its uphill version is somewhat tiring, as it decisively gains height through the fir forest. At the end of this section we reach a forest road and a meadow, where we meet the other hiking trails of the area (Pavliani – Pyrgaki - sanctuary of Heracles).
We easily reach the peak, which offers unobstructed view of Giona, Vardhousia and the peaks of Oeta.
