Paleontology

In Greece, a lot and remarkable palaeontological findings have come to light, many of which stand out for their quality, rarity and scientific value. The fossils, either plants or animals, are discovered within the various geological strata and help to better understand the evolution of geological history of the wider greek area since the Tethys Ocean era, millions of years ago.
