For its size and the percentage of rocky shores, Kimolos has a quite high number of beaches, most of which are more or less organised. In the south and east side of the island, most popular beaches are Bonatsa Beach, which has a well-organized reception center, Aliki and Kalamitsi, where taverns operate. Connoisseurs prefer Ellinika beach and a few reach the Deka and Mavrospilia beaches.

The inaccessible beaches on the NW side require a long hiking, so they are for real hikers. On the contrary, on the east side of the island are some of the most frequented beaches, such as Agiorgis in Prassa, equipped with a youthful beach bar, and Vromolimni. Much further north, the Monasteries offer insulation and tranquility, but road access requires a four-wheel drive car.
