Mountain huts in Zagori

Astraka mountain refuge is built at an elevation of 1950 m on the col between the summits of Astraka and Lapatos. It belongs to the Greek Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing (EOOA). In its initial form, it was built in 1966, while it was renovated and expanded in its modern state in 2004. It has a capacity for hosting 51 people during the summer period. It has an organized kitchen and is open daily from May to October, while during the winter period it can open after an agreement with the manager.
