The easiest MTB route of topoGuide, an introduction to the landscape and trail network of Mt. Hymettus, which can be done by everybody and essentially on any kind bike. Ideal for a short break, a spring afternoon or a cool early summer morning.
The route begins at the parking lot just after the monastery of Kesariani, at the intersection of the three asphalts. We follow the asphalt on a smooth uphill, passing Kalopoula and leave the tarmac road 700m before the road junction above Papagou cemetery. The dirt road is easy, has an unobstructed view on the city and goes downhill. It brings us directly and without surprises back to our starting point.
